I have a friend that bought one as a suggestion from the almighty computer guru at staples. Of course I ended up installing it, on 1 Gateway touchscreen Win 7 Computer and a Dell Dimension running XP SP3, connected to a HP M400 printer.
Anyways, when you switch from XP to Win7, you have to cycle the printer by turning it off and on, in order for the computer to recognize the printer. And from Win7 to XP, you just use the software.
[Experience]
I have no experience with those things, and didn't know they even existed till Thurday, but when I saw the parts and software, knew it was trouble.
Anyone have experience or knowledge of them, any work arounds, or should it all go back to the store for a network version of the printer.
[Product Info]
The unit appears to be a private labeled Belkin F102 something, I suspect that one company makes them all, and they are marketed under various brands
