GeneralI'm feeling dirty...memberAndrei Straut20 Sep '12 - 2:55
So, I had to bring some improvements to a databases sync module. Now, bringing improvements to the modules we have is usually piece of cake (.NET console applications that drag data from an Oracle DB to a MySQL, or the other way around).

This one though, well, it's OMG | :OMG: WTF | :WTF: . It was the first one to be made, and it's a PHP that drags the data from MySQL and calls a SOAP webservice to insert it into Oracle. The code is...well...I have no words to describe it.

So, I made the modifications and adjustments, and prepared the upload package (direct upload to server via WinSCP WTF | :WTF: ). My finger was twitching as I pressed the OK button, as I was expecting the whole s**tstorm to follow. However, none did. Yet. I guess I just got lucky this time, and I'm not looking forward to ever touching that piece of s**t code again. I think I'll take a rape shower (or 10) when I get home.

Just had to get that off my chest.
