Anakin's powers were never fully revealed. He was shown killing children. At the least I'd have expected Lucas to show a few short/quick fights where Anakin kills highly skilled Jedis. Also I wouldn't ahve shown him lose to OWK, instead I'd have shown him come close to killing OWK and then Yoda attacks him from behind, cutting off his limbs.
