I got a pair of headphones about a year ago, Skullcandy SK Pro (cost about $150, it's a lot for head phones, but I'm nit-picky about sound quality and they're very comfortable for extended use). Recently the wire started to go near the plug (about a year in the cord starts to break on all my headphones without fail) and my sound was cutting in and out if I moved, so I decided to try their warranty service. Just got notification that they accepted my claim, and now I have a new pair on the way here (almost - they don't make this model any more, so I got their Aviators, which is the same hardware in different housing). So now instead of paying another $150 to get equivalent headphones, I just paid $11 (in shipping, they don't pay for you to ship it to them, my one gripe about the process). Thumbs Up |

I did notice something interesting while looking through their shop to pick my new headphones, they now make all of their more expensive models with detachable cords, guess they realized it was cheaper than replacing the whole unit every time a cord breaks.
