Movie Quote Of The Day
After one week of absence... here it is again.
Nice guys are fine: you have to have somebody to take advantage of... but they always finish last.
Which movie?
(for reference read the MQOTD rules on my profile page )

Don't know what the movie is but the quote reminds me of a Green Day song - which I'm now humming.
I wonder if they are connected?
(The movie and the song, not the humming and the song ).

So apple and HTC have patched up their suing differences and agreed on a 10 year deal to share patent info...
Does this mean they will be ganging up on the other players to uphold the 'rounded rectangle' patent ?

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I'm figuring the 'brawny intruders' are imports while the 84 yr old is a native; They build 'em tough over here don't they!

At 84 he probably fought in the Pacific.

I was about to point out he'd only be about 13 at the time - then figured he sounds like the type that would have lied about his age to get in on the action!

I have to laugh at this one, having spent many years in the Oz bush, place called Ivanhoe of all things, I have the little pests for granted, easy to avoid, step on them if they get too close (obviously this does not apply to crocs and sharks).
At least we don't have f***ing great bears and tigers and lions that jump out and eat you!

OK - I'm doing a genuine search on
llblgen 2.6 ReadXml "object reference not set"
In google I get some 2700 results, many MANY of which are from a site called codeinspot.com and are useless.
In Bing I get one result - and it's not useless, but doesn't help.
Question is - is this the same for you? and how have codeinspot.com managed to hijack Goodle like this?
Now, back to trying to find out why LLBLGen is crashing on me!
|
|
|
|

|
Same. Will look at the source of those pages later to see if keyword stuffing is in effect.
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

Try the search without the "2.6". Does that help?
This[^] search result (#1 in Google's results) seems to address your original problem.

Thanks - yep I did find that page, and it kind of helped - I was curious about the other stuff clogging Google, though.
(incidentally, with the LLBLGen problem, I have the latest dlls from v2.6 AFAIK and still get thte exception - the good news is that the exception seems to be thrown post - instantiating the object tree from the XML so I can probably ignore it!
|
|

With Bing, the first result is your post here. only one other link...
Common sense is admitting there is cause and effect and that you can exert some control over what you understand.
|
|
|

There are a few obnoxious sites like that (I won't mention them here to avoid giving them any publicity).
They modify the first part of their domain name to fit search results. Apparently using different URLs (with no relation to the search result) has the same effect on Google.
E.g.: if it were CP, if you were to Google for "CListCtrl", the site returns clistctrl.codeproject.com, which generally contains a list of BS results or links to other sites (some of which may be genuine).
I use personal blocklist[^] to keep them away (Google's built-in block doesn't work on such sites due to the different addresses)

took a lot of training to get me to keep my posture when I fight. The reason he was getting takedowns is because I let him back me up against the cage. I don't think it was too bad for my first fight. It took about half the round to get my bearings.

I do it for several reasons. I got into it on my way to getting healthy and losing weight. I think when it started I had a lot to prove. Now it's just testing myself and my training more than anything. Pride and the competition are two good reasons , yeah.
