I'm skipping it. Looking at the concept and the commercials, I feel like COD has jumped the shark. In the same way that battlefield did in the 2042 version but now they are trying to get back to their roots (I enjoy BF3 and play with a good bunch of guys, many were military at one point).
That said, I still enjoy Rainbow Six: Raven Shield for the slow, methodical, tactical and teambased play that requires planning instead of running like an idiot.
The Radio Times website covers UK TV, and tonight there is a Michel Roux Jnr program on Escoffier - I noticed it has a preview clip.
The text that came along with the clip tickled my funny bone, anyway: These clips are supplied by trusted broadcasters and distributors and included on Radio Times automatically using technical magic. So in case you wondered, Radio Times is not responsible for the clip’s contents.
Ah...Technical Magic. I must start recommending it in QA.

Internal medicine doctors from Sinai Hospital-Johns Hopkins Program turned to a fecal microbiota transplantation, a procedure in which a stool is taken from a healthy person and transplanted into the colon of the infected person.
This is NOT how I imagined modern medicine would be like in the 21st century when I grew up.
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.
If it makes you feel any less gross, identifying which gut microbes actually need replaced to repair the microbiome and culturing them in the lab is a subject of active research.
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, waging all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?
Training a telescope on one’s own belly button will only reveal lint. You like that? You go right on staring at it. I prefer looking at galaxies.

Anybody else having an issue with slow downs with VS2012? Occasionally moving my cursor or highlighting some text the program will slow to a hault for several seconds, and the longer I leave VS Open the worse it gets, until I retart the program.
I'm still spending more than half my time in VS2010 because it's feals fast and responsive, compared to VS2012.
Without the theme editor for 2012 to make it a little more bearable (the defaults are horrable)I don't think I would try to use 2012 at all.
Not really, but I did get a complete 'came to standstill/lockup' for about 30 seconds today.
I tried out some new classes in my app, they didn't provide anything over the alternate I was already using. So removed all the code, and then deleted the reference. VS hung up as soon as I ok'd the reference delete dialog. I was almost going to force a "kill" on visual studio, when it suddenly came back to life.
Just be glad you're not using Delphi XE2. If I even highlight over the "Refactor" menu, it freezes for about a minute, and sometimes I just have to restart it. A few of the devs I work with have actually edited their registry in order to get rid of the menu completely, so as they don't accidentally highlight or click it.

Yep, I'll often get a popup dialog which states "Please wait while Visual Studio does some background processing".
WTF? If it's background, then why am I being asked to wait for it in the foreground?
If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.-John Q. And either way, the implications are staggering.-Wernher von Braun Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.-Albert Einstein
VS2012 was written to test the upper boundaries of usefulness with regards to WPF. It seems to me that they rather easily discovered those boundaries.
