But you'd be wrong. I'm at the SharePoint Conference and I use http://myspc.mssharepointconference.com/ to check my schedule and such (you won't see much at that URL unless you log in).
Lag: I couldn't even use it yesterday, as it was taking minutes to load each page (or not loading at all).
Paging: Given the slow load times, the paging just compounds the issue. There are 24 pages of "sessions" (basically, presentations on various SharePoint topics), and the pager looks like this when you're on the 5th page:
Prev 1 ... 4 5 6 ... 24 Next
That is effectively the same as:
First Prev Current Next Last
Since it's all handled via AJAX, there's no way to modify the query string to skip to specific pages either.
Wireless: This isn't a problem with the site, but it has prevented me from reaching the site. While I was able to load a page or two, the wireless has been laughable. Most of the time, I have an icon that indicates the wireless could not be connected.
Pretty sad, considering much of what they've been talking about at the conference so far is scalability and handling high load on the cloud. They can't even handle a few thousand conference attendees.

Cathay Pacific tend to have shorter attendants too.
Because so many people in the East are much shorter (on average) than in the West, Cathay employ shorter attendants so as not to intimidate the customers by looming over them.

Deost Underwear from the Seiren company in Japan [^] will be the next viral meme to metastasize world-wide: I am absolutely certain.
Surely, the YouTube videos are being made, as I write this, showing on a split-screen the effect (in a crowded movie-theater, at two different screening times) of the same man prone to spontaneous eructations: in one screening with standard underwear; and, in the other screening, wearing Deost flatulence-suppression underwear.
The two different visceral reactions of the audience sitting near the man, as his ... uhhh ... "nether voice speaks," will be more convincing than any scientific proof. The videos will certainly go viral.
I am certain the high moral standards of the Seiren company will preclude their launching a secret media campaign to discredit Psy, of Gangnam fame, in which it will be implied that Psy's horsey-horsey signature dance-move is caused by chronic flatulence.
On the other hand, if Psy should become "yesterday's meme gone stale," I would not rule out a multi-million Yen or Won celebrity endorsement by Psy of the Seiren Deost underwear line, complete with a heart-rending YouTube video in which he tearfully confesses the condition he has spent his life trying to hide, out of shame (which will also go viral, and cause thousands of women and men to offer to marry him).

no - not a really late halloween post!
I moved the Mac to Mrs. Maxxx's shop on the weekend so I could play do wome work between customers (cuz, I'm a nice chap, and gaver her the day off)
When I brought it back home all was well, but my middle mouse button didn't work ;(
Reboot, settings checking, different USB ports - nothing wold work.
so, before posting to Q&A I googled (implementing rule 3 or whatever it is of the Q&A guidelines)
Found a bunch of pages, laboriously opened them by Command-Clicking or right-click open in new tab.
Then, through habit, I middle clicked on one link.... And it opened in a new tab!
Middle button now working as advertised!
Seriously strange behaviour (unless, of course, it's a loose connection in the mouse that's just fixed itself, but there's not many moving parts to go wrong!)
