Think I'd rather fly with CG on Quantas. Worst airline I've ever flown: planes look like they should have been mothballed in the nineties and most of the 'air hostesses' were well past retirement age, as was the 'food' (we were given a 'croissant' for breakfast which was actually a 2 inch lump of something inedible). The screen on my phone was bigger than the one in the back of the seat and had the advantage of actually working.
Impossible to check-in on line and would not let us put our booking together (long story) so didn't know if we'd be seated together until we got to the airport. Oh, and when they finally answered the phone to try and sort it out the day before the flight I could not understand the gibberish that the 'person' was screeching at me.
Oh that feels good.

They made the list a long time ago. I booked a flight and on one of the connections they put me in a plane so small no carry-on bags were allowed. If I'd known ahead of time I just wouldn't have used them.
That proves it!! I think some personalities just attract problems.
I'm happy we didn't invite you on our trip. We flew United, Copa, and BOA to IAH, MCO, PTY, VVI, CBB, VVI, PTY, MCO, MEM, IAH with no delays or problems of any kind. Earlier this year the trip to Tokyo on United was also uneventful and on time, as were all of my trips the last few years.
FWIW, all my trips on American to/from the US, UK and South America have also been boring - which is how I prefer flights to be.
The only bad trip I took was on Braniff almost 40 years ago.

I've only flown United once, MElbourne to LA. The plane was falling apart. We were delayed while they tried to get the toilets to work. In the end they announced they were taking off, in the hope it would fix them, and if not, we'd stop in Hawaii for a toilet break.

I have never, ever, had even a 'just about acceptable' flight on any American airline, to the point that when I was traveling frequently between New York and California, I would take Air Canada via Toronto.
