Too late, I already installed the whole Office 2013 suite, including Visio 2013.
Besides this little "flaw" I think that Office 2013 (including Visio) is quite nice.

First question I guess goes to Chris or a related gerbil - I see at the bottom of this page MS advertising VS2012. If I click through and buy from there, does CP get any extra mula? Just curious. I know you used to have special deals way back since discontinued.
Second question - what's with the weird pricing on the market for VS 2010 and 2012? I've seen the rants against 2012, so I'm wondering if the dislike is so high that it makes VS2010 more valuable?
For example, using the advertising link, I can go out to MS and purchase VS2012 professional (no MSDN) for $499. On Ebay and other places, a non-MSDN VS2010 pro is running about $525, except for some true auctions. Just seems odd to me that the previous version would have a higher market price... Of course, I have read where MS is heavily discounting 2012 to get developers there.
For me, I'll be ordering 2012. VS2010 completely hosed support for Windows CE and Embedded, and they're adding that support not to 2012, so no choice.
back to my coffee
Okay, so I work in an environment where VS something more than 2008 is going to be needed. It's just a version thing

Clicking on any ad helps support the site, so the more you take an interest in our sponsors, the more they take an interest in us But no, no direct affiliate program. Great idea though.

The antics of this particular sponsor have made me lose all interest in their products. Still, if it helps, I can occasionally pretend to be interested and look at their ads anyway.

I got to Rome yesterday... and I walked around the "bars" last night. I use quotes because they're a little different over here. They're all more like cafes with in and outdoor sitting that also sell booze. It's pretty neat walking around the alleys lined with shops/bars at night.

Last time I was in Rome, they had reserved rooms in a small hotel for pilgrims. Fortunately there were not so many real pilgrims there at the time who could be offended by our definition of 'spiritual'.

Unfortunately next week will probably be unusually rainy (for our standards).
