Back in the day it used to be a good wheeze to rent a game for a day – I'm not sure if this is from Blockbuster or somewhere else like Gamestation – and cut it to a CD before taking it back. Since that's not possible these days there's probably less of a demand for renting games.

Dunno if anyone else has mentioned it above, cuz I can't be bothered to look, but that was the single best subject line for a post on any post I've ever seen on CP
Can I have a P45 please Bob?
Awesome!
(I hope you didn't knick it from somewhere!)

Anyone else getting pumped for the startup of some good NHL games this weekend. Nice coincidence with today's Google Doodle[^].
I'll be watching the Sens/Jets game in the afternoon and then enjoy Les Habitants crushing the hapless/hopeless Maple Leafs. Go Habs.

That was up last night, and it was great fun to drive the Zamboni before retiring for the evening! I've long wanted to do that. In fact, that was one of the Career Objectives I listed on those counselling surveys they gave us every year in High School.

Didn't you live in California and now Arizona...

Yup! But there are ice skating rinks everywhere, and someone has to groom the ice. One of the little girls I helped to raise in California for a few years was a classmate of Michele Kwan, and both trained at the Ice Castle in Blue Jay, PRC, just down the road from my house there.

Go Jets Go!!!! After 15 years of withdrawal I'm allowed to have a couple years worth of "honeymoon" excitement. Hopefully CBC broadcasts the game in Calgary so I can see it. Last year was a joke with the CBC. Every Jets game that they had the rights to was denied to NHL Centre Ice because it was considered a "national broadcast", but was only broadcast in the central region. They are such a bunch of twats over there at CBC. [And yes, I'll enjoy watching the Toronto Maple Syrup Drinkers get their hind quarters handed to them]
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

It is fun.

If we weren't so strapped for cash right now we would be going to the Nashville Predators' first home game on the 19th. djj55: Nice but may have a permission problem
Pete O'Hanlon: He has my permission to run it.
