Funny thing is, it was one of two books I ordered. One came from Amazon in the UK and the FedEx one shipped from the US. It took about 36 hours for FedEx to collect it from the seller and get it to my front door. Amazon (using Royal Mail) took nearly four days so-called expedited postage to get it how far? 100 miles? Go figure.

To be honest, Royal Mail at least made an effort. If you look at some DHL vans they have a Royal Warrant on them. RWs are only issued by members of the royal family if you've provided an exemplary service to them over a minimum period which is something like five years. There's a bloke who advertises in Country Life magazine who sells bissom brooms and he too has a Royal Warrant. I mention that if only to show that it's not just big corporates who get them. Now, the queen, in all her majesty (bless her little cotton socks), bestowed an RW on DHL which means she no longer trusts the mail company bearing her name, Royal Mail.

If Royal Mail are better than that festering slime pond populated by recruitment consultants, then the latter are indeed the lowest form of life and populated, like you say, by untrained idiots... Big Grin | :-D
