I think you are making very large assumptions there.
 
First off if a person has the choice to live longer they will most likely choose to do so... Even if it means gaining debt that they have no way to pay off (sorry kiddos... Grandaddy wants to complete his bucket list).
 
Secondly, as long as their is money coming in (regardless if it comes from credit or cash) a corporation will find it profitable.
 
While I agree as a society we will not be able to maintain. However, that will not stop it from happening. It will likely still happen and we will need to revamp how we are structured.
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.
