I decided to try and port the tIDE (Tilemap Integrated Development Environment) project from CodePlex from XNA to MonoGame, and have just succeeded! The program works perfectly fine, and I am now going to start working on it to fix some bugs and add a few features.
 
Stay Tuned, and wish me luck in making this work.

You seem to work on a lot of random projects. Where are the articles to document your adventures? Smile | :)

All I really had to do was change the references to the MonoGame assemblies.

Yeah. I tried to figure out why I could not load maps that were saved, and quickly found a lot of code that is so convoluted it actually confused the Visual Studio debugger, which gave a message that said that it could not jump to the statement that threw an exception.
