What counts to you when reading code? I read it much like I read a book an thus am greatly irked by unnecessary vertical spacing.
I see this a lot:

BOOL MyClass::MyRoutine(CView* pArg1,
                        CPointer1* pArg2,
                        CPointer2* pArg3,
                        CPointer3* pArg4,
                        long Arg5,
                        long Arg6,
                        UINT Arg7,
                        UINT Arg8,
                        UINT Arg9)

I know this is supposed to be someone's idea of easier to read and / or change. But to me, it is just harder to read.

After
all
you
don't
write
anything
else
like
that
do
you?
