GeneralWhat do you call yours? [Modified for clarity] [modified] PinmemberStewart Judson21-Feb-14 0:22
We realized we didn't have a succinct name for something today & wondered if anyone else had.

These are bracket ()
These are braces or curly brackets {}
These are quotation marks ""

But these are less-than, greater-than signs <>

Hardly rolls off the tongue, does it?

How about pointy brackets?

[EDIT] I mean when used as a pair (eg in HTML tags) - individually, the names are fine

What do you think/use?

Regards, Stewart
