Welcome to the Lounge

For lazing about and discussing anything in a software developer's life that takes your fancy except programming questions.

Technical discussions are encouraged, but click here to ask your programming question.

The Lounge is rated PG. If you're about to post something you wouldn't want your kid sister to read then don't post it. No flame wars, no abusive conduct, no programming questions and please don't post ads.

GeneralObject-Oriented JavaScript Details In Memory Pinmembernewton.saber27-Mar-14 5:12
The first two chapters of my book Object-Oriented JavaScript are available as a kindle book at :
Object-Oriented JavaScript ~Newton Saber[^]

Diagrams and Old C/C++
I have created numerous diagrams of JS objects in memory and I explain what is going on more like books used to do in the old C/C++ days. I hope you find it interesting.

If You Get The Free Book
If you decide to get the free book you'll get the updates -- as I write them and release them to amazon -- for free too.
Note: It's only available for free thru 12am PST 03/28/2014. It's an Amazon.com thing.

In Case You Think This Is Spam
1. I've written numerous articles here and have been a part of the community -- I'm not just a 'bot rolling by injecting this crap. Smile | :)
2. I also checked the lounge rules for this type of thing and it seems okay.
3. Above all, I am only announcing because the book is free (until 12am PST 3/28/2014). If it cost you anything I wouldn't post here.

The biggest reason I wanted to post this is because I really think I'm explaining some JavaScript concepts in a new different way and thought those in the community who are interested in JavaScript might find it interesting.

Thanks,
~Newton
