Hi there..
I have 5 vehicles which run specific routes.
I would like to:
-Track each vehicle.
-When one vehicle arrives at a location, I would like to
have the computer tell the driver (from a pre recorded announcement either on a cd or from the hard drive) what he has to do at that location.
-I would also like to have the ability to change the annoucement. Need hardware and software. Thank you.

Hello Riazi,
I am Rakesh Gosangi . I saw your article on extracting frames from avi files. I am currently working on a project and your article could prove useful to me. I had few doubts , u were talking about funtions like AVIFileInit , AVIFileExit etc. I tried to do according to ur suggestions on visual studio 6
but i found that none of the functions that u mentioned were there in vfw.h file so i wanted to know if u used the same visual studio 6 or the newer version to vs7 to develop this frame extractor. plzz reply soon to my email id. i need to finish this project very soon. i would be greatful to u if u help me out.

Hello Dear Mr. Riazi,
i wrote a COM+ object in matlab which has an event by name "OnProgress", and i want to use the event in my delphi code, i can connect to the com server and do calculations but cant connect to event interface, i tested the COM with Visual Basic and it works properly, but not in DELPHI.
would you please to help me?

Hello, you should be the right person...
I built time ago a MatLab(7.0.1.24704[R14] ServicePack 1) Com object. It works fine on xp but crashes on 2003R2 server.
I tried then the simple tutorial (magicdemo):it still works on xp but crashes on 2003(The .NET win application hosting the com object closes without any error message).
Running the Win debugger I found an access violation on the zip.dll file located on "C:\Program Files\MathWorks\MATLAB Component Runtime\v71\sys\java\jre\win32\jre1.4.2_04\bin".
Have you any suggestion?

Hi Mr. Riazi,
I am interested in your application. Some of our reputation are as same both of us start programing at 12 years old with basic but i start with comodor 64 basic programing and i countinue with foxpro and c,c++,fortran,assembly, Watcom C, Pascal, Cobol, Lingo, and Etc..
However we are envolve with very big software project for CMM (Cordinate Measuring Machine) software. It contains a lot of matematical operations and hordware integration.

need favor in developing cricket indoor tracking system. how can we create the cricket coordinate system in order to place the beacons. Do you have the source code? The beacons will transmit RF and Ultrasound in order the listener can calculate the nearest distance of the beacon. Can you guide me to develop the cricket system. Looking forward your help.

Shiraz, The City of Art
