I'll definitly take some more pictures.. I'd just love to have a camera and an eye like yourself or Paul. Someday!

I'll also be going over for about a month from the middle of August until the middle of September and Ulla will be flying back with me for a few weeks... So i'll get to spend a full month in Germany. We'll probably travel around Europe for a bit then as well. Hopefully.

Good to hear it. Any idea's where you'll be going in Europe? Touring Europe in a vehicle seems like such a great way to spend a few weeks. I'm a little scared of the whole driving on the other side of the road thing though. Tried it once in the US - can't say it relaxed me any! We've just had leave approved to go to Sweden for a week at the end of August Big Grin | :-D

Seems like a good place to learn the ropes - out in the Swedish countryside where there's no-one else to crash into Blush | :O

It should work fine but he'll probably have to pay roaming charges to TMobile... He could buy a sim pack [Just a sim card] over here for around €20 [~£15]... he'd get €20 euro of free credit with that too so it's technically costing him nothing... Just make sure that the phone he brings is not locked to a particular network in the UK... over here the phone providers lock a phone to their network until there has been a certain usage on it [and then you can ring and get it unlocked]. I don't know if it's the same in the UK.

I'd recommend going for either O2 or Vodafone over here... both have excellent coverage.. tell him to steer clear of Meteor... they have excellent coverage in cities but go about 3 miles outside of a city and they just aint gonna work. Big Grin | :-D

I'm just back from my second trip to Germany. Was cool. Spent plenty of time with Ulla [ Heart | [heart]

] and got to see some cool parts of Germany..

The Dom in Speyer and Castle in Heidelberg [Very Cool | :cool:

] were excellent... I spent a day in Mannheim and had a class time there and went to Germany's Edge [where the Mosel and Rhein rivers meet OMG | :OMG:

] yesterday... such a beautiful day and one which I wish I could have spent with Ulla for a lot lot longer... Rose | [Rose]

Yep. I did.

I was at some more besutiful places the second time [I haven't got around to scanning in the pictures yet] and I'm just back from Germany again [was over there for easter]. Did go visiting many places but spent a bit of time in Strassbourg in France and some little small villages. I'll get around to scanning int eh pictures from both as soon as I can. Smile | :)

... I have hung up my codeproject editors pen for a while. Cry | :((

I've been finding it hard to get the time lately that is required to edit articles. I only really have a chance to edit when I'm in college as I have no net connection in my flat [ Frown | :-(

] and editing while at work wouldn't go down too well with my boss [ Mad | :mad:

]!!!

I've been a bit snowed under in college this year with projects. Nothing hard or stressful but they keep them coming thick and fast this year as we go out on placement in March and they try their best to fit a full years work into the shortened year [ Roll eyes | :rolleyes:

].

I'll be finished college at the end of February [ Cool | :cool:

] and hopefully, Chris permitting, I'll be back editing then.

Now even though I'm not an editor I please urge anyone who is currently writing an article or who is going to write one soon [or ever] to not use word to create your html and to read all the instructions... it makes life easier for everyone!!! Big Grin | :-D

I should still be frequenting CP as much as ever [I know a lot of you are going Roll eyes | :rolleyes:

and

about now] so I'll still be around to annoy everybody.

Hi Brian How about writing some articles in the near future? So us what they teached you there CHeers PS: C#, .NET preferably WebBoxes - Yet another collapsable control, but it relies on a "graphics server" for dynamic pretty rounded corners, cool arrows and unlimited font support.

I hereby apologise for all my crap spelling mistakes and the typo's and stuff that I always do but please rest assured that these mistakes will go on and as such your CP experience will not change.. i.e. you can still take the piss out of me for them. Big Grin | :-D

My usuals are:

the = teh [a common one among people on the web]
should = shoudl [ :wtf: ]
would = woudl [ :~]

Now, before I get flamed for not mentioning more I would just like to say, in my own defence, that I have fat fingers* and I blame this for my crap spelling as I always hit the wrong keys.

*Actually I don't... it's just that I type a little too quickly for my brain to keep up.
