Wrote my first code in machine language on a navigation computer in a submarine. Actually started while in school in the early '80s. I've worked on simulation systems for military and NASA, embedded radio controls, medical systems, PDA business software, as well as a variety of other things.

I currently live in sunny Arizona, where we have 9 months of summer and 3 months of "Hades" per year. Believe it or not, you feel cool after getting out of the pool, for a while, even when the temperature is over 100 degrees.

Like Tosche Station on Tatooine, this is a place for desert-dwellers to waste time with their friends; even if your chores aren't done. If you pick up a power converter, so much the better.

This group is intended as a meeting place for Code Projectors in Arizona and New Mexico. I suppose that Utah and Nevada are close enough. El Paso and El Centro are pushing it, but I'd be remiss to leave you out.
