write something worth reading, but these withdrawals are prohibiting me to do many things. Tonight the itching will kick in, and tomorrow the zombie within will take over for 4-5 days. After that I'll be more or less normal again.

Decimal 11111 posts, not binary 11111 posts!
Binary 11111 posts would be only 31 decimal posts, while 11111 decimal posts are 10101101100111 binary posts...
By the way, this is my 649th decimal post, or my 1010001001th binary post. Thats a cool number, is has four separate 1s, and the three blocks of 0s have one, two and three digits. Ordered one, two, three, four, it would be post number 0.00.000.1111, decimal 15. So I need only 16 additional posts to reach 11111. Does it mean that 11111-649 equals 16?

Our thoughts are so similiar that it scares me. I don't see your posts often, but when I do they frighteningly (is that a word?) make sense.

I did not eat a pizza with my friends the other day. I did not drink way too much coke.
It was the first time in ages I was able to say "No thanks, I'm eating home made and nutritious food". No more jello for me mom![^]

I can almost say that too. My version, however, goes "No thanks, I'm eating home made..." I don't know about the nutritious part though. My lunch time sandwiches are now down to the minimum - a slice of ham, chicken or turkey between two slices of WeightWatcher's Brown bread.
Anyway, how's the weight doing? I'm slightly behind target - but if I can squeeze a couple of extra gym sessions in I'll probably get back on track in a couple of weeks.

Have you tried new recipes? I don't know about you, but I found cooking new dishes was very entertaining. It may however require extra time to do shopping and preparation, time which is often not abundantly available these days. I'm 0.5kg heavier now than before I started. :woops: But I don't think it's fat. Sure, I've eaten thai food a couple of times, and some candy, but I've also been lifting weights a lot. I think I've gained muscle volume since I started, which is very easy to do in the beginning. A larger muscle volume can hold more water and other substances. I think that's the case anyway. (And it should be as I've been pounding every piece of muscle in this body 4 days a week + 3 days of recovery)

I think I have a little too. I'm doing more of a cardio workout rather than a weight training/muscle building workout so I'm mostly burning calories. I have noticed that the muscles in my arms are more pronounced than they used to be and my legs are probably more muscular as well (but I can't really see any difference there).
My plan is that once I start closing in on my ideal weight I might start looking at doing some exercises that are more aimed at muscle toning than weight reducing. However, I won't be looking at that until I hit the 80kg mark at least.

Why wait with the weight lifting? Here are some interesting facts:
1) Muscles require energy to function - more muscles requires more energy. So with more muscles your basal energy threshold rises. (Basal energy is the energy your body require in a non-active state)
2) After weight lifting, the muscles in your body are actually hurt on a microlevel. To repair the damages, energy is needed. Your body's energy consumtion rate is held on a steady high up to 18 hours after you've worked out. Compare that to cardio training after which the body is back to normal after about 5 hours.
If you spend 1.5 hrs at the gym, spend 45 minutes on lifting weights and 45 on cardio training. That combined with a diet plan (lots of carbs before training, lots of proteins after training, minimeals such as a banana every hour to avoid low sugar levels (low sugar levels is what makes your brain take control of your body and transport you to the nearest snack source)), I managed to drop from 115 kg to 77 kg in about 9 months.
Damn. I sound like an infomercial. Maybe I should get into Bill Sergio's business?

Sounds interesting. I've heard the Carbs first, proteins after advice somewhere else too.

You need a half hour spiel for an infomercial. But don't worry if you've only got 5 minutes of material all you need to do is to repeat everything 6 times but in a different order. And if that sounds too repetative you can pad it out by getting a second person to inteject after every sentence with filler comments such as "Wow!", "That's amazing!", "It can do all that!", "You're giving away all this extra for free!" and so on.
