Sean Regan - Professional Profile

For close to 10 years now, I have been actively pursuing the computer programming field as an indie developer. Throughout the many years, I've created many mods, programs, games, and apps and in doing so I've dealt with a plethora of programming languages such as: C#, C++, Java, DBPro, and AGK just to name a few.

My initial reason for learning programming was because I wanted to make my own games. So throughout the years I've made many small games for my own personal use. But, in 2010, my work was recognized and I was asked to freelance for a company known as "The Game Creators" (TGC), working on one of their flagship products "FPS Creator". Soon after I "published" my first program through TGC known as "SpriteMe" (http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2301), a program which allows you to convert your 3D assets to 2D animated sprites. And not long after that, I published my second program through TGC "Particle Creator" (http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=view_product&id=2327). Eventually in late 2011 I dove into the popular "mobile app markets", and ever since then, I've made apps across the popular platforms such as: iOS, Android, and Blackberry.

In 2012 I was fortunate enough to come across the Intel App Innovation Contest 2012, and as a result I got passed Round 1 winning me an Intel Ultrabook and I then went on to win one of the prizes for the first fifty contestants to submit their entry (My entry: http://www.appup.com/app-details/15-puzzle ). Later that year, I was an avid participant in many of Blackberry's Port-A-Thon events.
