I am one of those lucky people who enjoys his work and spends more time than he should either doing work or reseaching new stuff. I can also be found on playing DDO on the Cannith server (Send a tell to "Maetrim" who is my current main)

I am also a keep fit fanatic, doing cross country running and am seriously into [url]http://www.ryushinkan.co.uk/[/url] Karate at this time of my life, training from 4-6 times a week and recently achieved my 1st Dan after 6 years.

Well, I have been making some progress on that DirectX game. I now have a window up and running using DirectDraw. Its black at he moment, but the surfaces do resize and move around correctly, so I am not making too much of a mistake at this stage.

I have so many plans for this game, not sure if it will ever reach fruition or be able to get all the features I want into it.

I also aim to start writing the article that goes with it fairly early too, so it may be a monster in length.

The other things I am doing a lot of is my Karate as well. I have a grading next week, which should make me at least 7th kyu but I may be able to go as high as 5th (I may triple grade - had over 3* as many lessons as some other students since my last grading), but its down to me sensei deciding whether I have earned it.

The fact that I accidently kicked him in the balls while sparring Unsure | :~ may work against me Cry | :((

Well, for those who play counter-strike source I can also be found fairly regulary on the University of Teesside source servers (mainly server 2). I play under the name RIGamortis. Hope to see some of you there. Big Grin | :-D
