Was looking for an FNP 45 tactical to add to my collection before they canceled all back orders and canceled the gun for a "new model" that's $400 more expensive. 
It took me 3 months waiting on back order to get my 380 target shooting ammo. I asked the local gun shop how is business, he said the warehouses can't keep firearms on the shelves.
It's also more difficult getting range time. Oh well.
Eyeballing a Glock 21, they are still available at a few stores.

HAve you tried buying on-line? I've had good luck doing so.[^] Gun shows are another good source, there's a big one every few months here in Indy.

The funny thing is if the Republican is elected gun sales will probably fall to a trickle and the Republicans can truthfully say they "reduced gun sales" (simply by being elected).
