Actually it's a really nice piece of software. I'm not going to name it, but it really is an elegant thing. I'm going to take his list of features that he so kindly posted in the forums of DSGraphEdit as a bug report and incorporate it into the the next release. I guess that's the best I can do for now.

Just curious, does the "My Articles" page sort articles by update date? I was updating some of my articles to include a license and they were moving around within each category. Refreshing the page doesn't appear to change the sort order.
If it does, it appears that it's sorting based on date and time but only displays the date. It would be nice to either just sort on the date or sort on both and also display the time.

They are ordered by chapter, section, subsection and updated date

What is the proper way to update the license associated with an article? For unedited articles, it's easy using the article wizard to select the license you want. However, for articles that are edited, there is no way to change the license.

I wanted to update my forum signature and found that through my profile settings I'm limited to 500 characters. However, if I edit the signature per message there does not appear to be a limit. Could we increase (or remove) the limit in the profile settings?

I think the link to view the contributors agreement on the article submission wizard should open in a new window. That way you can view the agreement but not get the feeling that you've just lost the article you were working on because the screen changes (and hope that everything is still there when you hit the "back" button).

On at least one of my articles (http://www.codeproject.com/KB/dotnet/idisposable.aspx[^]), the collapsible code regions extend way beyond the article content on the right margin. This only applies to the actual "header" of the region (where the "Collapse" appears) and not to the content of the code block.

I accidentally went to error page http://www.codeproject.com/script/Common/Error.aspx[^]. I noticed that the menu shows under the Ad. As that ad is flash, I know that the menu won't show over the flash object. So, I think that you might consider something (e.g. removing that ad or change the format or move that ad somewhere else and etc )

Initially, I thought it's about z-order.. but I noticed that ad format is flash and I thought the menu won't be able to show over that flash object... correct me if I'm wrong..
BTW, I'm FF user..

Ads are shown in IFRAMES. If it's in FF too then it's still a z-order issue but not the annoying Microsoft z-order issue. Clearly it's another, different, annoying z-order issue.

Submission wizard allows you to upload 15 files. The instruction text still says "You can upload only 10 files".

I've cleaned up the wording.
It could be that someone else is using your name, or a form of your name (eg HTML, special characters etc) that looks like your name

Hey Chris, what is the story with http://www.codeproject.com/info/eula.aspx[^]? Is that something that we can default use? Can we make it more restrictive for our own purposes if we wish? What latitude do you give us to use that EULA and to customize it if we want to? Also what motivated it's creation (just the constant hub-ub in the Lounge)?
Also can we use this for our own personal use and if so can we modify it?

You can use the EULA for your own products - it's our gift to the community. However, if you wish to cut and paste parts of it to make a modified license then that's fine as long as you don't identify your license as the CPOL.

The desire to provide developers with a license that would actually protect them. The "use this how you want" license is no protection for anyone, and after a year spent talking to way to many lawyers, and seeing first hand what can happen when code is provided without a license or agreement, we decided enough was enough.
The CPOL lays out clearly and unambiguously what can and can't be done with code, what rights and assignments are made, who is involved in the license and who isn't, and provides users with enough rights to actually use the code while ensuring sufficient control for the author.
We looked at every license we could get our hands on and they either failed to provide sufficient rights for users, failed to protect the author, used ambiguous wording, or (and this was an important one many overlooked) failed to provide any protection for publishers.
