It is actually third party rtd server .I linked to it via excel and getting the data in excel file .
data is updating within milliseconds .I see the rtd formula on the cell. I donot know it is excel file or stream of data . please suggest the solution for both condition .My AIM is to store every updated data in the database .

Hello !
Hai in my application i have to display time taken for execution, at present i am using GetTickCount (), this function gives time in milliseconds, i need more detailed result i.e in microseconds, is there any similiar function?

Well, you could either divide multiply that result by 1000, or resolve to the notion that unless you have a RTOS, you aren't going to get any better than 15ms resolution.

I have a HWND pointing to the window in question. Is there any way I can close down my program when the HWND is closed?

The program while loop looks like this:

Thanks, but the way I have the program set up is hWnd refers to a hidden window which allows me to get a system tray. hWndConsole refers to the console window (which is external to my program). I want to close hWnd when hWndConsole is closed.
Any ideas on how to do this? Sorry for the confusing post.

Actually, I just got it to work. I made the hWndConsole the parent window of the hWnd, so whenever the hWndConsole is updated, the hWnd gets a message. Then I check if the hWndConsole exists.

I think you can try ExitProcess (); while closing that window.
NOTE :This function closes the total application

Alternatively, you can wait inside a thread on an infinite loop, checking for the window (HWND) existence on a regular-interval of your choice with the help of Sleep(nMilliSecs) + IsWindow() and do a PostQuitMessage() to your application's main window after the said window (HWND) is closed.
This way, you can avoid all the ugly manual message translation and pumping stuff.

Hi,
I want from a list let's say A={1,2,3,4} with N elements, 4 in our case , to find the unique combinations for groups of K, where K=2,3...N
For example if N=4 and K=2 then the correct algorithm should output the following results
(1,2)
(1,3)
(1,4)
(2,3)
(2,4)
(3,4)
if N=4 and K=3 then it should output
(1,2,3)
(1,2,4)
(1,3,4)
(2,3,4)
and if N=4 and K=4 then
(1,2,3,4)
Can someone help me to do this without using STL Library ?

Its not a homework. Its for a sport bet kind application.
Until now I have found all the permutations of the groups but I do not want for example 1234 is equal with 4321 and its not correct.
I need also to optimize the code so, in the same loop I can find all the K groups ie groups of 2 and groups of 3.
Can you help me ?
