You can use session/query string to pass values from one page to another.
query string
Response.Redirect("Home.aspx?value="'+ddl.SelectedItem.Value+'");
on another page you can receive
string temps=Request.QueryString["value"];
Session
Session["TempToStore"]=ddl.SelectedItem.Value;
Or In case of large data you can use XML Manipulation to write or Read.

AFAIK, there is nothing(at least not command line) that gets executed on press of F8.

I try to Debug page Default.aspx, Default.aspx.cs it syntax error page, I find the error code in the Default.aspx.cs file does not have this command, see the attached image file error. So a command line, 2.3 where the error lies in the Default.aspx.cs page? can download attachments in error, you run the test.

In a C#.net web form 2010 application, I can not find some *.aspx files that the site map is looking. I want to look into other options before I tell my company I am missing some *.aspx pages.
Thus are there ways to rename an *.aspx file to something else? This way the user would not be aware of the real *.aspx page?
For example in the web.config file I know you can do something like the following:
<add url="~/Start.aspx" mappedurl="~/Startuser.aspx">
Are there other options like this? If so, can you tell me and/or point me to a reference that could explain the ways an *.aspx page could be renamed?

Seriously? Just hope there is nothing important on the missing pages. Are they not backed up anywhere? Have you tried to determine if it is, in fact, the sitemap that is incorrect?

Use url mapping into your config file!

you can map your lost page to existing page!

The asp.net site map is not automatic, but created by someone, so the possibility of an error exist.
If your talking about the solution explorer, that's another story.
the missing files may of been dragged and dropped into another folder by accident, and you just don't see them.

I think what you need to investigate is the ASP.NET Membership Provider
This is a pretty good article which I have used as a reference:

Do a bit more searching and you will find the scripts necessary to create the membership tables in an MS-Access database.

Writing an ASP.NET page/app/site/whatever-you-want-to-call-it with a database back end is pretty straightforward. There are tutorials/articles on this site ( use the search tool on this site ).
