Previously, we introduced support for Amazon S3 storage integration with Saaspose APIs under our endeavor to integrate our APIs with external storage providers and it was welcomed quite warmly by our customers. Now, we have implemented support for DropBox storage integration with Saaspose APIs as well; this blog post gives you an idea about how to setup DropBox with Saaspose API via our Web UI. Saaspose API SDK Updates
We have introduced features in our SDK for Saaspose.Pdf during the month of September 2012. There is a list of features available for these features on Github and you can download the required SDK. These new features are added in Saaspose.Pdf REST API. These updates include the feature of merging multiple PDF files into a single document. We have also fixed some issues in PHP SDK. The 2012 Duke's Choice Award Winners have been announced by Oracle in advance of the world’s largest Java event - the JavaOne Conference in San Francisco, CA. A PDF file may contain several bookmarks; you can get all bookmarks in a PDF file using Saaspose.Pdf REST API. You can also get count of all bookmarks used in a PDF file. There might be scenarios where you want to get only selected bookmark from a PDF file and use it as per your requirements, and you can achieve this easily with Saaspose.Pdf. You can also work with child bookmarks in a PDF file using Saaspose.Pdf REST API. You can get the count of child bookmarks in a PDF file. You can also get child bookmark count for selected parent in PDF using Saaspose.Pdf REST API in your applications. You can utilize our SDK and REST examples to manage bookmarks in PDF files in the cloud. It requires a simple step, download the required SDK from Github.com and incorporate the useful features into your application. Please refer to Saaspose.Pdf documentation for more details. You can manipulate your PDF files with a variety of features supported by Saaspose.Pdf. Redesign Based On Windows UI (“Metro”) Design Principles
TORONTO, ON, September 19, 2012 — Today, CodeProject.com, a Lake Quincy Media Inc. property, launches a redesigned site layout. The new layout is designed to put articles and conversations – by software developers, for software developers, front and center. The new look is built on the Windows UI design principles – replacing “chrome” with content. The software component vendor Text Control recently released a new version of his fast spell checker TX Spell .NET.TX Spell .NET 3.0 introduces an improved suggestion quality. Version 2.0 delivered very good quality in suggestion results for misspelled words. Based on the analysis of thousands of test documents, the expected suggestion is now ranked at position 1 or 2 in more than 97% of all cases.
TX Spell .NET 3.0 also provides a new spelling dialog that can be customized and used with TX Text Control or any other controls such as the RichTextBox, a simple TextBox or a GridView. With the new release a new Options dialog box has been designed for TX Spell .NET 3.0. Dictionaries can be added, enabled and disabled for spell checking and the creation of suggestions.
The new version ships with new events when dictionaries are added or removed, words are added or removed to user dictionaries or buttons have been clicked in the 100% customizable spell check dialog. Also dictionaries and user dictionaries can be now added and saved from and to a string array. This enables users to add dictionaries from memory or from databases.
Finally, it is now easily possible to create context menus.
