it is slightly annoying as a fan and a FL player, I am now wondering what if if we had played him against SA.
Based on the scores, he looked in good batting form for sure. Could have made some difference against SA too. If not Bopara (since he was bowling good), England should have tried him in place of Butler or Bairstrow. I know they did showed talent in a game or so but overall throughout T20WC, they did not impress me.

If you remember one of my earlier posts, I did mention that the WI team was powerful for T20 this time.
They have 5 hard-hitting allrounds in their squad, a perfect combination for T20.
To add to that, they have one world class spinner and one world class fast bowler.
Strangely, they left their fastest bowler home.
The Super-8 teams should have played each other twice. Look at India, lost 1 game, and out of the semis. The run rate should not be the default picker for the semis teams. It should be wins. But that's not possible with so few games.
