Will you be catching the last day of the test tonight?
|
|
|
|

|
It'll go 4 days for sure!

Wouldn't bank on it, the two men that are in at the moment are the only two that will give resistance and you have Yuvaraj to get KP out so you don't need to worry about getting Cook, just concentrate on the other end.
There's a slim chance that Prior or Bell might give you problems but I doubt it. So although physically the game may go into the fourth day I think it will basically be over as a contest by the end of the 3rd, just a case of mopping up the tail-enders on the 4th morning.

Kinda funny though. Get a green pitch in England and your team beats us 4-0. Get a turning pitch in India and it seems we can beat you fairly easily. I wonder how the teams will fare on some kind of in-between wicket. That'll be a true test of each team's players.

Hold your horses you haven't beat us 4-0 yet! I think the 4-0 in England wouldn't happen if you played us now(in England), at the time so many of our Batsmen were in form that we were always going to score heavily, since then a lot of the players have lost form, Strauss has gone and also Morgan, the top 7 is nowhere near as strong. Also losing Khan early did for you, it would be the equivalent of us losing Swann for this series.
I take your point though about the teams being suited to different wickets, but our poorness on turning wickets is a lot worse than your poorness on green wickets. This will probably be proven by you getting an Innings defeat in the first match. It took us till the 3rd Test to dent your confidence enough to achieve that.

I'm feeling that pain too.

Still having the same pain.

The pain has all gone now, how are you feeling?

Yes and you obviously would be aware of this. This is a shifting pain and will again shift in next 10 days time.

This is the first time I've seen him I think, in a Test match definitely. Looks like he is a very accomplished player and with him and Kohli it looks like the future of Indian Cricket isn't as bleak as it looked it might be 12 months ago.

Pujars is a good batsman who got selected after scoring heavily in domestic cricket and having better chances of surving the test cricket unlike few star cricketers.

played a good inning and this will certainly give him lot of confidence. Now it is little master's turn to get the similar confidence back.

He might loose his form in the next match so don't woory much about him.
TPFKAPB wrote: Pujara
He is better player for the number 3 slot and that is why Kohli also pushed lower. He hasmade lots of runs in domestic cricket so lot is expected from him.

I think the last session is going to be crucial. England need two wickets at least in order to give themselves a chance. If these two are still there at close of play the game is over already for England.

Correct specially after taking the wickets of sehwag and Tendulkar they are on a somewhat high after the second session.

Yes, only one not enough though. I can see this being an Innings defeat for England, depends if Cook & Pieterson are up for it.

Naah....I don't think England will give in this easily.
From the looks of it (the way Swann has bowled today), this is going to be a close series.

I hope you're right, but England haven't performed since they met India last summer, and after the manner in which they capitulated to Pakistan earlier this year, I am really fearing for them facing Ashwin and the other one (oija?)

Well, you only have one bowler who seems capable of getting wickets here.

Yeah I know it's depressing, although I think Bresnan/Broad/Anderson will contribute more tomorrow.
Do you get to catch any of it live over there?
|

|

|
No, I did not. I'll try and get some highlights if it's available somewhere though.
