This 'guts' cost HUGE money - we tax payers money. A total waste for no reason.

Too late a message to hold any strong or significant implications.

Watching English movies all these years have kept me believing that he was kept alive for some important reason, probably sensitive information. Why would someone put in so much money to keep a bastard alive? Our government isn't idiot at least when it comes to money.
But I am sad that it took a lot of time.

I am not sure if it is a statement after all or whether it has any implications. Terrorists will still keep doing what they are doing.
Something more drastic then hanging a guy who was already captured for a long time, needs to be done.
|
|
|
|

|
Now this is called guts...
But govt should beaware of more terrorist attacks in future as Lashkar says he will 'inspire' more attacks[^]
Now again if they have guts like this then a question arises What about Afjal guru who attacked in parliament? Will Afjal guru can be executed in future?

Dreaming? The master of the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which; he simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.

1. This is *our* problem, and the solution should come from within us. If all of us decide to follow the road rules, this will happen. Although, I don't see it happening anytime soon. The only way to achieve this will be to impose hefty fines and/or jail term on those who break traffic rules.
3. Excessive availability of man power. That's the problem. However, I don't really know why will our people be selective with showing their respect towards others. That has something to do with attitude.

Why post that here? This is not a DC-specific forum.

We are planning a webcast for the same so people around the world can get participate. So if everything is in place, then people from India also will get a chance to see the technology presentations and learn the new technologies... I see lot of participation in webcasts from our folks. So thought to share here.

Okay, but since you've cross-posted this to the Lounge as well as the News forum, this is a little over the line in my opinion.

India starts best win with this series.

yeah! great job by indian team!
Now Rahul Dravid has predicted that India will win the series by 3-1

is a master piece. It was mentoned before the series that if anything is between India and series win is Cook, peiterson and Swann and two of them had already made it correct as early as in the first test. Excellent batting by them so save this match.

Yeah but could save the match. Just matter of time before we win.

Personally I still think our win was not impressive enough, given this was their first Test here and the state of the pitch.

It looked good as wicket was not very bad even on the last day. Bowlers did well and even batsmen also except couple of them.

Hello there!
I've not been posting a lot on CP the last couple of years, though I still read the Lounge and GIT (I was never very active in the GIT to begin with). It seems content has dried up in the last few weeks, has anybody else noticed this?
Gone are the days when a cricket match would feature nearly over-by-over updates. Now there's an entire day of Test cricket gone (what's more, with India on top) with no new threads - is everybody watching the game instead of posting about it?
Or did everybody just get A Life?
Cheers,
विक्रम

There were 3-4 core people who were extremely active during cricket season. Their intense posting lead to a chain reaction where dozens of others would post on those threads too. I think what's missing now are those central figures - they've either moved on from this forum or are otherwise busy with their lives.

The BBC couldn't refresh fast enough to keep up with the wicket loss and it's all your fault.

I assume you have Sky, if so you can watch it on a PC/Laptop with Sky Go, it's quite small and discreet.

I do, but I'm busy reviewing a spec today. As the boss I don't have to worry about being discrete. I am the boss after all.

£630 in our proper currency.

Will you be catching the last day of the test tonight?
|
|
|
|

|
It'll go 4 days for sure!
|
|

Wouldn't bank on it, the two men that are in at the moment are the only two that will give resistance and you have Yuvaraj to get KP out so you don't need to worry about getting Cook, just concentrate on the other end.
There's a slim chance that Prior or Bell might give you problems but I doubt it. So although physically the game may go into the fourth day I think it will basically be over as a contest by the end of the 3rd, just a case of mopping up the tail-enders on the 4th morning.
