Hi Pete,

Couldn't find your email again!
(I know I should have it, maybe I lost it while migrating to Win8?)

At any rate I posted the code as it is now at this address:
https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=7E5D519CDA2F47D0!1752[^]

Send me your comments at ld AT galador.net please!

There are 1 component library "DXBase" and 3 samples applications: "Sample0_xxxx"
As of now they all work, but it's because, in the app 'Sample0_DXCoreWindow" no event is fired!!

The C++ sample (Sample0_DXCoreWindow) has 2 problems:

- enable event by modifying
DXBase\Scene.cpp:26, remove the if, add the event always! => app crash

Also, even if there is no event, merely triggering the (empty) event is a source of problem.
In DXBase\PerformanceTimer.h:103, use the PROPERTY_CHANGE_EVENT_AUTO macro (instead of PROPERTY_CHANGE_EVENT_EXPLICIT) => app crash

thanks
