QuestionDurable Message PinmemberCollin Jasnoch13-Dec-12 3:52
What does this mean exactly?

Durable Messages

A durable message is one that is never lost due to a disruption in the communication. The messages in a durable message pattern are always saved to a database. If a disruption occurs, the database allows you to resume the message exchange when the connection is restored. You can also create a durable message using the Windows Workflow Foundation (WF). For more information, see Workflow Services.

I understand not being lost but it states it will resume the message exchange. Does this mean it will resume from where it is left off?
Is this pretty easy to set up and how is this working? Does this obsolete BITS[^]?

My thought is what if the "message" contains a large set of binary data... Like 1GB or something. Don't want to start over.
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.
