For years, Indian fans took consolation in Tendulkar's ODI centuries when we lost games, series, and world cups. But now we don't have that consolation any more - and we will miss those glorious 100s that don't help us win the match.

I've never felt IPL games are scripted. Of course there are lots of rumors going around but nothing has ever been proved.

Rumors are all not baseless. We will never get any concrete proff for having these matches scripted but they way matches are happening and the amount of money involved there will always be space for this.

So it doesn't look bad that when he scores a 100, only 2 out of 3 of those ensure a win? And the stats may be even worse if you filter out the weaker teams.
Been a big fan of his batting for most of his career, but even at his best he had century nerves and wasted balls in his 90s. Many times it was a case of India winning in spite of his 100 than because of it.

I thought the Test Series just gone was billed in India as Payback time, and that didn't turn out to well.
You have Aus up next, I hope you recover to beat them and it's not a repeat of 2011 when you lost to ENG away followed immediately by AUS.
