Why did you guys reported him? I had so many questions for him...

Your reply makes me wonder what the real message was. Whatever it was I think I would have hated it(from the looks of the quotes text).

Actually I got to see the quoted text of the message in your reply. So its more like judging it by looking at Google Books preview

Hey, belated wishes... and how's your daughter doing?

|
|

Thanks Yaar! She is fine, going good. Great to see her taking some baby steps and mocking sadness (eventually she cries ) to get things done
Hoping Vipsa is doing good and troubling her father

She's fine, likes walking but still needs support. Troubling, but fun. You know it well.

I barely see job openings these days.
And if I come across any new openings, its normally a Java J2EE skill requirement.
Is no one doing any good .Net development these days?

Hmmm... so you are looking for a change!

No opening does not really mean, no good work!
Honestly, I guess, just less openings overall.

Are you sure the interview was really conducted by that company or its consultants.
I have seen that some consultants conducted interview for Giants leve 1-3 conducted by these consultants and level 4-5 by the actual company.

The interview call came directly from one of the HRs of that company. The interview was conducted in the company. And the person who interviewed me wore an Id card with the company's logo on it. So I am assuming there was no consultant involved here.

I see them hiring in bulk... not sure if it's for development or some unknown call center!

Usually if the job description says "Candidate should be willing to work in night shifts", i don't respond to that as there is a high possibility the job involves lot of talking and very less or almost no coding. But this interview call didn't have a job description.

Yeah, a simple shift+delete kinda reaction.

Hi TK,
I was reading your post and bit confused whats wrong in the below question.
__TR__ wrote: Interviewer: "I have a user table and the user name is the primary key. How do you stop users from entering duplicate user names ?"
me (tired and confused) : "Primary key is usually autogenerated and not entered by user."
You can set any column or combination of columns to be a primary key. There is no hard coded rule that "Autogenerated" numbers should be a primary key. For the Interviewer's question, the answer suppose to be, "We should validate the existence of the username before INSERT"
|
|
|
|

|
Yep, he's just confused PrimaryKey with AutoIdentity. He said himself that he's tired & confused during interview.
How're you?
