QuestionDOEACC 'C' level course have same value as MCA in IT Industry Private sector?memberAarti Meswania13 Feb '13 - 20:23
DOEACC 'A' level course = PGDCA
DOEACC 'B' level course = BCA
DOEACC 'C' level course = MCA

Is this Equivalency have value in IT Industry Private sector?
AnswerRe: DOEACC 'C' level course have same value as MCA in IT Industry Private sector?mvpRahul Rajat Singh13 Feb '13 - 22:17
One of my friend has done BCA from a low profile college and He is currently sitting in Redmond. Why, Because the company took him because of what he knows and what he can do rather than his degree.

My Point: Any company that values degrees more than knowledge are best avoided. Focus on work and getting knowledge and aim for good companies and I am sure you will do just fine.

All these degrees and courses are just beurocracy of Indian education system.

I have not heard about DOEACC.

But if this is a certificate course (It sounds like it), then no certified course from anyone will have same value as a degree from university.

They are designed for the people with some degree to sharpen their skill set, they are not designed for a replacement.

Few of my friends did DOEACC earlier and it was well accepted in the IT sector. It was 8-9 years before, not sure how its acceptance these days.

I think still we need to cross couple of decades to get rid of these things. Still there're many websites for every community. Ex. www.[CommunityName]matrimonials.com
Hmmm | :|

We are far far away from that time. Couple of decades is a short time. I can still see people of our age believing in this CRAP about caste, religion and region(newly introduced, if you know what I am saying).

And the real problem is that these issues are needed by the politicians to work on their personals gains and aspirations. I hope I will see the day in my small life when we all treat others and equals and the only discrimination will be based on knowledge and money(although this is bad too but no one can't remove it, at least not in our country)

P.S. Such discrimination is saddening. And to see that new ones emerging like region based discrimination, Sometimes I feel bad about being a part of this.

[NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE]
