This forum is for any and all questions for Code Project Article Writing:
Have a question about writing an article?
Having trouble posting?
Blog aggregation not working?
Not sure about your article topic?
Is your article still pending?
Is there a crazy formatting problem in your article?
Not sure how to update your article?
Having problems with the submission wizard?
Need help making a change to an existing article?
As a basic overview CodeProject articles have a certain layout to follow, so that users can learn the most from them. Each article attempts to answer the following questions: What problem does this solution solve? How does this help someone else? How does the code actually work? What is going on inside the code snippets?
Here is a submission from a first time author who did a terrific job, just to give you a basic overview of what a beginner article might look like: Avoiding InvokeRequired[^]
We can do this but only manually (ie contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly or include a note to the editor at the end of the article submission page) but we're working on allowing this to be accessible by authors.
I submitted one article which disappeared. Unfortunately I drafted and saved that article only on CodeProject web site and I don't have any other copy of it. I saved article many times and edited it multiple times over many days. When I click on submit it disappeared from all places.
Article title: .Net Framework Stack
Please somebody help me to recover it.
Let me know who is the right person.
I've added a technical blog and have been waiting for the first article to get processed but so far nothing has happened. The 'My Blogs' page shows my blog but says it was last polled on 14-Aug-14 16:03 and last updated Never. I added the blog at the time specified but at the time I hadn't realised I needed to add CodeProject to the tag and also that the blog article had to be over 1000 lines long, which it is now. Since then I have updated the article but it still isn't being picked up. My blog is hosted by Wordpress. Is there something I need to do to?
