I think that I've seen better days in this city, at least with respect to traffic.
A 10 km ride is taking no less than 35 minutes, and if you were attempting that in peak traffic hours, add another 20 minutes to that. The pollution is choking, and I don't see the number of vehicles coming down or the roads broadening up. I guess this place is heading for what could be worse.
I would say it is still lot better than the metros. Also since the IT companies are location slightly away from the crowded city part it is easier. Also I normally use to go little late in the morninf so for me it was a smooth one.
Very true for the 5 working days but yeah on weekends we use to go some places but less at restaurents. My daughter doesn't allow us enjoy time at restaurants anymore.
Also I came to US couple of months back.
The fact that most of these people are supposed to be professionals is quite
disturbing. Some of them don't even have the common sense that animals possess.
And unfortunately that is the case everywhere. It make me crazy when I see the way bikers and autos drive on city roads.
Also people will honk and stare at you like they have not seend a fool like you if you do something correct according to the traffic rule. I had this experience I stopped at the signal when it was yellow and about to go red. People behind me had a excellent expression at their face.
I suppose right now everyone would have actually come across theatres selling popcorn (small) for Rs.40 or a Rs.10 Lays or Bingo packet for Rs.50 (Yup it's true and the best part is the MRP is still visible on the packet!).
Do you think all movie theatres have become worse or instead better? They don't allow almost any foodstuff inside these days as well. Ticket prices are sort of the same which is I think a good thing as if they had increased as well, it would be very very bad.
This is the reason why I stopped going to movie halls.
While they're to be blamed for their greed, we should also hold the public who will pay Rs. 100 for a glass of fizzy drink as responsible. When people are ready to pay, looters will price their crappy stuff as high as possible.
They want to get rid of piracy and all that, but people who want to go visit a movie hall and pay for the movie are being ripped off like crazy. I'm not sure if this is quite the strategy to eradicate piracy.
Unfortunately that is true. If they say you are stealing money from us to pirates, why do they stop the services which bring movies at home for example on set top boxes? Pay some money and watch some kind of stuff. Don't they earn from that? It's a problem when the filmmakers make sure that people are forced to watch in theatres. I don't think that money is a concern for them...
