This site is not affiliated with the developer (Microsoft), and the URLs of the copies of the distribution packages are also of some non-affiliated site. It really looks like a piracy site.
Please don't take me wrong. Here, I'm not trying to advocate Microsoft commercial interests and fight against pirates. I only want to stay away from anything illegal and I think we all are highly interested in 100% legality of CodeProject and prevent infiltration of any legally questionable content from any of the members.
Any thoughts? Action?

I just checked: unfortunately, the original question and answer have been removed while I was entering this abuse report. I did not copy the whole answer, but I gave an idea on its content.
I recommend everyone not to abuse-report highly abusive posts but report them at this forum instead, with the copy. This way the original post will survive a bit longer, to serve as an evidence. I hope you can trust me to consider my report truthful.

I'm not sure about that one - the site that the downloads come from is msft at digitalrivercontent, which is where the Microsoft legitimate downloads come from - so there is very, very little chance that the download is of illegal material: answers.microsoft.com[^]
If the download is legit, then it would need an activation code which won't come with it.
I don't see a reason for abuse votes here.

I have no reason not to trust you on that. Reported on the member account (the abuser is still alive, needs more).
Too bad, some my reports on bad words in English were not supported. Cultures based on English have lower threshold of tolerance.
