Windows CE to go Open Source?

MS may be trying to compete with Linux in the embedded market.

Reports have it that MS is considering giving opening up its CE source to base developers for free, with an announcement possible as soon as April at the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference. The move could be considered either a public relations excercise, or as a way of competing with the recent Linux push into the portable PC market. Read the full story here.
