Windows Millenium Edition to be the next consumer version operating system from Microsoft

With the release of Windows 2000 out of the way, Microsoft is now turning its attention to the next version of its consumer operating system, dubbed Windows Millenium Edition, or Windows Me. Windows Me will be still based on DOS, but will incorporate many of the user-interface and device management components of Windows 2000. On top of this, the new version will include a "system restore" feature that will allow you to roll back your machine to what it was a day before, a week before, or before a previous software install. Way cool. See full story at http://www.zdii.com/industry_list.asp?mode=news&doc_id=RTB18a3894rittz&ticker=msft.
