Hey,
I use this java based application on Windows 8 which is actually a test series.
while I'm running this app, the copy-paste of my PC doesn't work.it feels like this app jammed it cuz whenever I give the copy and paste command, the applications message appears in place of the text that was actually copied.

can u please provide a solution of there is any!!
thanks in advance

whenever i copy a line from one microsoft word file and paste it into another, rather than pasting that line, this line is pasted "Copyright (c) UWorld, Please do not save, print, cut, copy or paste anything while a test is active."

Sounds like it's a feature, not a bug. The tests might require the use of the clipboard so copy-paste is deliberately disabled.

This is a bespoke program so you will have to go to the programmers of that application for an explanation.

yea this has been disabled by this application. But is there a way I can still copy paste??

Any method of copy-paste would require the clipboard. it looks like it is that that is disabled.

Many applications include a drag/drop feature. You could try highlighting the text in one app and dragging it to another but I think that that would still require the clipboard. It might be worth a try, though.

Is it possible to run the app on another machine, or can you use another machine to work on? It might be possible to work in a VM, or run the tests in a VM. Either way, these are questions for your own IS team. They are the only ones who might be able to offer an alternative.

good luck ^_^
