It makes no sense. It depends on your experience and purpose.

Java is the best, unless it's C# which may be better.

There is no valid answer to such a question, since we cannot anticipate whether your code will be well written or not. In general it is unlikely that performance in an Android app will be a critical issue, since everything works at the speed of the phone operator.

Please see my comment to the question where I explain why it makes no sense. The notion of "best" is something undefined.

One thing you need to consider first: C# and CLI is great, but on Android it will require quite costly Xamarine: http://xamarin.com/platform[^].

I wish someone could correct me. Anyway, Microsoft promises a great fix which is supposed to come with Visual Studio 2015, which is supposed to become available at the end of the year, with Community edition free of charge for source projects, educational, research, training and small professional development. Please read about it; perhaps you may want to hold on or address to Release Candidate versions.

thank for answer my question, but can you compare the performance between C# and java? which is the best performance? how about stability? best thanks.

It's not necessarily that one of the technology has better performance than another one. It could be that ".NET is faster than Java" and "Java is faster than .NET" at the same time. Do you understand how it's possible? You might be interested to read on mathematical relationships and the relationship of order, to understand that this could be an invalid question.

It does not matter what you choose if you want to use one of these languages as the back end for the front end android application.
