How to differentiate last point of chart by hilighting it by another colour.

i m implementing software in which i taking reading from multimeter. and from that data i m showing using chart or graph in .net windows application c#, my problem is i want to show last reading in different format by which new reading will be easy to noticed or move cursor to the point of new reading to hiLight it. plz help
