How do I do the parallel port EPP comunication to Sony Dat recorder

I need to do datatransfer with my older 16ch Sony Dat recorder. This is connected to the PC via parallel port IEEE 1284 EPP mode standart. How to use parport.sys to do propper handshake ... ?

First you would need to study the documentation for the recorder device.

I've done that of course. I made also some soft by using inpout32.dll where I also read some data from the recorder but it is slow and there is no handshake possible. So I have to go deeper - so parport.sys . But I have no clue how to start.
