Hi,

So close to a UAT version of my website.

I have made strides in design and my mgr wants me to push to UAT so the client can have a look at how pretty the site is.

I published locally and copied the files over to prod.

No none of my resources can be found.

Here, see for yourself. The UAT is open to the world (for some reason): http://www.flightwatch.codeperfect.co.uk/Hub[^]

Remember that this was a copy-paste and the site was working fine.

Anon-auth is enabled
IIS User has access to the resources folder

Why is this happening to me :(

Thanks for advice. I'll stay active on this question so I can answer questions and reply quickly.

The site doesn't seem to be open to the world - it just returns:
"dev.uk This domain is used for development and work in progress."

Ah - I needed to change a config setting - should work now ^_^

I can see the site now, and all of the css and js files are returning 401 errors.

Do you have access to the server? If you try to load one of the problematic files in a browser on the server, IIS should return a more detailed error message.

same error from the directory Resources down to the files:
"HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized
You do not have permission to view this directory or page because of the access control list (ACL) configuration or encryption settings for this resource on the Web server."

This "was" working. i have not changed the settings. Anon-auth is on and IIS user has permissions to the Resources folder down to the files :(

That's definitely pointing to the NTFS permissions on either the folder or the file.

Double check that the IIS_IUSRS group has read access to the folder. Then, in the advanced security dialog, tick the "replace all child object permissions ..." box and click OK to reset the permissions on the files.
