Is It possible making a copy of a project published to IIS

Hello Folks,

This might be a dumb question to many of you. But shall ask anyway.
I have a project which was developed in visual studio (MVC.Net) and was published to IIS. Somehow this project was deleted and i need to get hold of it.

Is there a way i can pull off this project of IIS? if so, please how can i go about in doing so?

Solution 1

If you have the assemblies still you can revserse engineer them to get the code back out using a disassembly tool like Reflector, ILSpy, and there are others.
