Need number sorting on gridviewfix jquery datatable plugin

Hi,
I am using gridviewfix datatable plugin my project. There is some error due to sort that table. For example I sort number in 'asc'. It shows (1,10,100,1000...) instead of (1,2,3,4...etc). Kindly reply me.. Thanks in advance

Most likely because you are sorting strings, not numbers. Reposting the same thing over and over tends to annoy people.

Solution 1

Wes is correct. The column which you are sorting, might be of type string, not integer. If you want to sort integers, then mark it like that.
