Working with CPROPERTIESWND

I have an object with properties in a view that I would like to select with the mouse and have the properties reflected in the visual studio code generated properties pane. The properties pane uses the class CPROPERTIESWND and populates this with default data.

Is there any example code, c++ mfc, that shows how this can be done.
