As Richard said, we certainly can't predict the future. I never thought Facebook would do much. Whoops!

As far as I can tell, both are very different and both will be promoted by Microsoft for time to come. It won't hurt to learn both of them. Dynamics-AX will certainly take a lot longer to learn than SharePoint so possibly start with SharePoint.
