Using the posting title "How to handle TAB" date Apr. 26, 2006, (article "Embed an HTML control in your own window using plain C") in my application's message loop, I've added this code:

if (msg.message == WM_KEYDOWN && msg.wParam == VK_TAB)
{ // NOTE the msg gives msg.hwnd not hWeb
  (*lpDoPageAction)(hWeb, WEBPAGE_TAB, &msg);
  continue;
}

I've embedded MULTIPLE HTML controls in my window. So I've to find the handle of the browser window (hWeb) ONLY using msg.hwnd

The problem is that msg.hwnd is the handle of the "Internet Explorer_Server" window, NOT the handle of the browser window (hWeb).

hWeb = GetParent (msg.hwnd) doesn't work.

You might conside posting the same at the message forum available at the bottom of the article. While others might help here, author of that article can too be of great help.
